We’ve had a lot of requests for information on where to buy the Buchman bed. This data comes from the Mad About You FAQ: “Replicas of Paul and Jamie Buchman's bed are available in Los Angeles at a home furnishings store called Civilization. They do not have a catalog, but if you call (310) 202-8883 and mention "the bed in Mad About You" you should be on your way. The store's address is: 8884 Venice Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90034. Be prepared to be set back about $700 plus tax (and/or shipping and handling).” I can’t guarantee that this is the most current information, but it’s worth a shot. Email me if you’ve had any luck! |
Believe it or not, the Mad About You newsgroup is alive and well at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=alt.tv.mad-about-you. |
The finale has come and gone, but Mad About You still lives on the net! There's still news to be had about the cast and their post-MAY projects. And Paul and Jamie are still attracting new fans with Mad About You in syndication. For those of you who are new to the show, the comedy series wrapped up it's seventh and final season on May 24, 1999. Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt starred as Paul and Jamie Buchman, a thirty-something couple trying to balance marriage, careers, and after 6 seasons,a new baby. The show has won several awards, including Helen Hunt's four Emmy awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. |
