It was the summer of 1971, when after 10 hours of glorious labour (or so my mother tells me), I was born to my parents, well my mother mostly.



I discovered the joys of musical instruments and finally settled on the cello. Although looking back now I think it was bigger than me.



Dressed up in strange clothes! (I was a member of the Methodist Association of Youth Clubs)



Starred in a play (Oliver Twist)



And ended up at University.
