My TV and Movie Hand Prop Collection

Me at the Vasquez Rocks formation located north of Los Angeles

This web page showcases all of the TV and movie hand props that I've been collecting over the last fourteen years. I purchased most of the Star Trek props in my collection from a small Star Trek store that was set up in the Air and Space Museum during the Star Trek exhibit of 1992. My Tricorder was bought from Master Replicas. My Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi lightsabers were all purchased from Icons. The Space: 1999 commlock is the last of Marco Lessard's beautifully made commlocks. This device has a lit screen and working buttons. My Logan's Run Sandman pistol was created by Richard A. Coyle.

I originally purchased my Ed Miarecki produced Star Trek Type II phaser prop for $450.00. My stainless steel Star Trek hypo cost $150.00 and the Star Trek communicator sold for $75.00 and the tricorder cost $400.00. My Darth Vader signature series lightsaber cost $450.00, my Luke Skywalker lightsaber cost $350.00 and my Obi Wan Kenobi lighsaber cost $450.00. My Space: 1999 commlock cost $650.00 and my Coyle produced Sandman pistol cost $200.00. My Master Replica's produced Mace Windu lightsaber cost $400.00, my $500.00 Imperial Blaster was also made my Master Replicas as was my $500.00 dollar Han Solo blaster.

NOTES:
All of the effects added to the below pictures have been done so using a combination of general and special purpose image processing and compositing software. For complete details about how these effects were created click either here or below.

The below Logan's Run Sandman pistol picture required 19 hours to complete the photography and resulting image processing. The pistol's flame effect was derived from a series of starburst effects described here.

I have discovered that the below full size picture of my Star Trek original series phaser was featured on page 28 of the Winter 1999 edition of the national magazine "Sci-Fi Flix". Woo hoo!

You should also note that I don't sell any of the hand props you see here, but listed below are links to sites that do. This web page will look best if you view it on an 800x600 resolution screen.
