One of the most creative artists of this century has got to be The Artist Formerly Known as Prince (AKA He is a prolific songwriter. He has written songs for many other bands as well. Some of his more famous works include "I Feel For You" for Chaka Kahn, "Manic Monday" for the Bangles, "Nothing Compares 2 U" for Shenaid O'Connor", and "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" (covered by Jordan Knight). His reasoning for this is that you have to give away a lot in order to receive. He feels that this is the reason he has been so successful, and I feel that is true.
The main reason I enjoy him (aside from his immense talent) is because he is so wise. He has taught me to express my individuality with this quote: "True freedom takes place in the spirit.
