R.M.S. TITANIC

CLOSING STATEMENT

On April the 14, 1912 man's greatest achievement, the largest moving object man has every created, The "Unsinkable" R.M.S. TITANIC sank into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. What followed was finger pointing, sorrow, and very little happiness. Two countries in totally shock, and 1522 souls lost in the freezing waters of the Atlantic. Did it all need to happen? What would have happend if Titanic would have hit the IceBurg dead on? What would have happend if the Californian could see or hear the cries for help on the Titanic? What would have happend if The Titanic had the necessary number of lifeboats aboard. For 85 years people have asked these questions. What happend to 1500+ people on that date should never be forgotten. They taught us all a lesson, that we are not as strong as we think we are. That we are not gods and that we cannot control anything. That no matter how technologically strong we may think we are, we are nothing and that we should not tempt fate the way alot of people did on Titanic. Alot of people put thier faith into a ship that man had named "unsinkable" and even so far as to say that God Himself could not sink her. We are small and it proved to us all how small we really are. I personally will always remember the 1500+ souls that lost thier lives when the great ship sank. R.I.P. R.M.S Titanic.....
