In 1978, CBS aired a five-episode mini-series, "DALLAS.” The show went so well that CBS order more episodes. DALLAS ran from 1978 to 1991. It was so popular that fans wanted a reunion. So in 1996, JR RETURNS aired and brought Dallas back to life. DALLAS lives on TV, in books, and on the web. Check out all the Dallas sites that are on the web here. .
