Brian Seth Hurst

Biography

Brian Seth Hurst has had a career path that has been varied and diverse. As an "intuitive" he established an international reputation working with individuals and corporations in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and the Middle East to help clarify people's circumstances, providing vision and insight. As professional actor he appeared in national touring companies as well as small roles in feature films and daytime television. As a Talent Executive for ABC Television's "In A New Light" Hurst worked with names such as Christopher Reeve, the musical group Salt n' Pepper, Patti Lupone and Elizabeth Taylor.

It is as a writer however where Hurst find's his joy. Children know him as an author, represented by Simon and Schuster's best selling "A PIG TALE" co-authored with Olivia Newton-John, and he is currently at work on "Sad Sam and Friend's" his animated series from Porchlight Entertainment. On the "grown-up side" of things Mr. Hurst has a full length play, "THANKSGIVING" a family comedy about "Life, Death and Being Caught In-Between" currently in development for Broadway; and is in negotiations with Fx Television regarding development of a new "new age type" show.

Well versed in New Media Technologies, Hurst is a founding partner of OBJECT ONE DESIGN, a Los Angeles based World Wide Web Design Firm building sites and developing content for a wide range of clients from the entertainment industry to medicine and finance. OBJECT ONE DESIGN'S strategic partnerships with award winning Sagon-Phior Group Advertising and Marketing and technowizards Animation House bring superior service to clients such as Dreamworks SKG, Virgin, Tower Records, Digital Equipment Corporation and Fox. He is also the current Director of Internet Services for Sagon-Phior Group.

Television viewers may recognize Hurst. In 1995 in his role as "metaphysician", Brian Seth Hurst has appeared as VH-1's resident Metaphysicist with Moon Zappa analyzing and discussing the deeper meanings and symbolism in music videos and song lyrics as well as speculating on the future career paths of artists such as Madonna, Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge. Guest appearances of FOX-TV's show "LIARS" called upon his intuitive abilities to flesh out and discern the truth about a contestant's story just before they stepped up to the real live lie detector for the "absolute" truth. His regular appearances on FX Cable Network's "Breakfast Time" as their "New Age Consumer Guide" (pictured above giving the newlyweds a psychic reading) were jam packed and fun filled.
