After the establishment, the organization began to accept  members which are mostly students. Two years later, in the end of 1965, the organization is believed to train "Military Resort 072" staffs in Yogyakarta. In 1960, in Madiun (East Java), it is opened the first branch outside Yogyakarta. Now, branches are spread over  almost all of Java and all capital cities of provinces.

In developing the organization, we pay attention not only to the quantity but also the quality of members.. Therefore, we have trained instructors and performed national championships to stimulate members to practise and learn.

Here are some activities performed in national or international events .

Healing and Fitness Institution

Merpati Putih is currently developing its new division named Healing and Fitness
Institution. Its main purpose is to teach people to heal self as well as others and to
maintain self-fitness at anytime.

This institution differs that it is targeted to people who do not have strong fitness to
face the strong practice material given in the self-defense, such as senior or people
with illness.

Although the frequency and volume of practice is not as much as other division of
Merpati Putih, many people have been able to break hard surface such as granite, bricks
and even metal iron, in a matter of months of practice. Under direct supervision of Mas
Budi himself, this institution has been given more concentration and plan to be
developed further.

Application for the Blinds & Visually Impaired

Merpati Putih has recently publicly released a special training program called Vibration
Energy that enables human being to feel the surrounding without literary use the eyes.
Today in Indonesia there are 2000 legally blind persons already trained with this
vibration techniques. Now they can walk or head direction without any assistant, they
can also physically see objects without touching almost as good as the non-visually
impaired. Aris Handoyo, a senior instructor of Merpati Putih, can recognize things
surround him and can even read while his eyes are completely blindfolded.

This innovation is possible because in Merpati Putih students learn how to energize and
utilize the electromagnetic energy which in fact exist in all human body. Through special
practices, both in physical and mind concentration, students are trained how to produce
more bioelectricity and control it.

Merpati Putih believe that all objects, living or dead, in this world in fact produces their
own energy and this energy surrounds the objects. Sometimes this energy is called aura.
In the world of physics, scientists know that at the smallest molecular level, every
object vibrates. And everything that vibrated has its own characteristic frequencies
and potential energy. After the students are able to generate enough energy (or
bioelectricity) in their bodies, students are taught how to feel the energy of
surrounding objects. With all the eyes blindfolded the students are asked to walk
within the poles or spread stones without touching them. At the higher level, students
must be able to find certain object among many objects in front of them.

The heir and Guru Besar of Merpati Putih have committed that this special innovation
must be known and understood by all people in this world. That is why every effort has
been taken to bring Merpati Putih to the world.

The Excellence of ILMU GETARAN MERPATI PUTIH (IGMP)

Objects around us generate vibrations and ILMU GETARAN MERPATI PUTIH
relies on our innate ability to detect the vibrations of objects nearby. This ability
or sense can be improved by practice. Visually handicapped people who have
mastered the art of ILMU GETARAN MERPATI PUTIH can avoid obstacles in
their path, distinguish stationary objects from moving ones, detect speed and
distance, and perceive the volume of objects. Ultimately they can read and draw
without using Braille. They can even read the text on a computer monitor, read
the newspaper and other printed materials. All of this is done without touching
the objects. Thanks to IGMP, the visually handicapped can carry out the same
activities as those that normal people do and even have the ability to detect
vibrations of objects nearby. Thus, ILMU GETARAN MERPATI PUTIH can
improve human resources and reduce the visually handicap dependence o n others.
The training center, INTERNATIONAL VIBRA-VISION FOR THE NON-SEEING,
has beenl opened  in early 1998 and offers an opportunity for everyone, especially the
visually handicapped to join in IGMP training, which is found only in Indonesia.

Nott so long after CNN's exclusive report on Merpati Putih program, Oman has expressed their
enthusiasm and strong interest to send their people, particularly The Blinds, to join Merpati Putih Energy
Vibration program. His excellency Dr. Omar Zawawi of Oman was very impressed to witness how
Merpati Putih training can change the life of the blinds.
