Welcome to Nursing
Online. I hope that you find everything you are
looking for, and much more. It is my goal to provide
a one-stop source for anything and everything related
to the profession of nursing. This site was started
in February, 1997. This is my first attempt at
publishing a web page, so please forgive the many
errors and omissions which you will, no doubt, find.
I would appreciate any feedback which would serve to
improve the usability of this site.
I am currently working on a number of major
improvements to Nursing Online. I am in the process
of gathering a collection of nursing links I expect
to be second to none. Soon you will be able to access
everything from cutting-edge research to nursing
humor directly from this site. A main attraction,
which I should have ready very soon, is the addition
of a live-feed newspaper. This will contain TODAY'S
news from news sources all over the world. This will
be completely updated daily, so please bookmark this
site and visit daily. It will provide you with up to
the minute information on everything from nurses'
wages to managed care. I expect to have the newspaper
online withing two weeks. I have the capability of
establishing a live chat area, where people worldwide
can discuss nursing issues in a live forum. When this
site grows to a point where this is practical, I will
implement the chat area and establish regular hours.
There is, of course, so much more to life than
nursing. No great nurse lives within a vacuum
occupied only with their profession. I have a number
of interests including computers, cooking,
photography, teaching, and cars. This site will
provide links to many of these areas as well.
Finally, I don't want to force you to weed through a
bunch of personal information about me while you are
trying to find the information you need. I have
decided to make a separate page with my personal
information which you can access by clicking on
"About Mitch"
