Mission Statement

To watch over and assist the young deaf;
To exert pressure for changes to be effected on the Constitution of Malta and the Laws of the Republic of Malta to ensure appropriate facilities for deaf persons, in the educational, employment and health arenas;
To investigate problems related to hearing impaired persons;
To raise public awareness so that the difficulties and the problems faced by HI persons are known so that the general public can assist them to lead a normal life;
To make available information regarding existing facilities that the HI have at their disposition;
To come to agreements with the Government, Authorities and Organizations that agree with the scope of the Organization;

To establish international contacts with similar organizations overseas and to participate in international meetings.
