Patt's Prayer

bvine.gif (18178 bytes)

Dear Father,

How beautiful the day was that you gave to me today, oh I know; All got to enjoy it, but I also know that the day was special just for me as well. I know that when I place myself in your care, fully, body and soul, then even if the day is filled with sorrow or joy it is a beautiful day; as it is mine. A gift from you. This one however was full of sunshine and the wondrous smell of spring, and the occasional honk of a north bound goose. Father take from my body the constant throb of pain and bear me gently to a restful sleep.

In my anguish I called on the Lord, Cried out to my God; In His Abode He heard my voice, My cry entered His ears. II Samuel 22:7 (Tanakh)

From ED...

And with Him comes life----purity of heart, victory over temptation,
vigor of body, keenness of mind, patience under difficulties, guidance in
perplexities, loving sympathy with others, and faithfulness in common things.

The thing is,  let Him into your heart....There will be as much of life
as there is of Him in the Life.....

LYNDE..... Our Prayers are with you in this trying time.... God Speed........

Thank you ED...

ark.gif (5752 bytes) A gentle response allays wrath; A harsh word provokes anger. The tongue of the wise produces much knowledge, But the mouth of the dullards pours out folly. The eyes of the Lord are everywhere

Poem

bvine.gif (18178 bytes)

"Come and walk with me"

Come and walk with me,
the weather is fine and the trees are green,
my hand is lonely without yours,
come and walk with me.

Listen to my story,
about the little girl who cried,
her tears of sorrow and of pain,
listen to my story,

Hold me close as we walk,
for there are bears about,
I should not like to be their lunch,
hold me close as we walk.

See the bird upon the limb?
He knows everything about the woods,
where all the berries can be found.
See the bird upon the limb?

Am I walking too fast,
for your wheels to keep up,
perhaps if I ride with you instead,
Am I walking too fast?

Can we stop now,
my legs have grown tired and my feet hurt,
my tears are dry now, thanks to you,
can we stop now?

Come and dream with me,
of kings and butterflies,
of wings and big blue oceans,
come and dream with me.

Good night dear Father,
thanks for holding me safely,
as I dangled over life,
good night dear Father.
