ACHIEVEMENTS

Established and maintained a successful private practice for the delivery of quality assessment and psychotherapy services for a variety of mental and emotional conditions.

Developed curriculum and provided facility-wide training in goal oriented treatment planning and the use of medical records.

Provided training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) to numerous groups of professional and paraprofessional staff (EMS, Fire, Police).

Designed personal and agency inter- and intra-net web pages using a variety of web authoring tools.

Planned and provided stress management and communication enhancement training for professional and trade groups.

Planned and moderated a statewide workshop on the de-institutionalization of psychiatric patients.

Designed and taught curriculum for college courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Developed and implemented a program of Personalized Instruction in psychology courses and developed programs on computer assisted teaching.

- Connecticut Regional Mental Health Boards on changing patterns of mental health delivery, treatment and discharge planning techniques.

Elected to Presidency of Genesee Valley Psychological Association (1992-1994)

Served as founding member and team leader for several community based Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)Teams . Provide ongoing training and organizational consultation to these teams.

Achieved status of Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and Diplomate, American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. (2003)
