ADD PAGES-ABOUT ME

Where do I start? At the beginning? Well, I was born......no, no--too dull! Let's see.....I am a Mom of 5 kids. At the time of writing, they are 11, 10, 10, 10 and 6.Yes, triplets! My oldest and youngest are boys, the other three are girls and all have ADD or ADHD to some degree!

UPDATE I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since I first put this site up. My kids are now almost 20, 19, 19, 19 and 16. Kids? Whoa! For anyone who just happens to stumble onto this page, I will be updating this site with more info in regards to autism - in particualr as it relates to teens and young adults. Yes, one of my "ADDlets" also has autism....actually two of them do, but one is more severely affected than the other. More on that as the pages progress.

I try to keep a sense of humor--with five very active children it is a necessity! Besides, it makes life more fun! But I have my moments, like everyone else! I am very realistic, but I do look for the bright side of things, at least most days.

This is my very first Website! I hope you are enjoying your visit here--I have really enjoyed putting this altogether! It has been a wonderful, relaxing diversion for a mind that is usually going in sixteen different directions!

I enjoy good graphics-can you tell?
(Grin..)I have spent many an enjoyable hour searching for good, but unusual things for these pages. Alot of the pictures throughout this site are of things my children like. But this page is for me!

I used to paint and write, but discovered webpage building...and , well...became addicted to it! I do alot of my "web stuff" in the wee hours, when all is quiet here and I am not required to be "Mom" for awhile.

I have become quite an "expert" at juggling everything that needs to be done into the day, but I think I have become even better at prioritizing! Sometimes my kids need my attention more than my dust does!

I always find a few minutes every day for just me--keeps me sane! Some days I even announce that "Mom" is off duty! Everyone needs a break!

If things get too crazy around here, we then resort to videos! With a housefull of ADDers, it can be a "sanity-saver" when needed! It gives the kids something to focus on for a while, and a chance to calm down!
