Mother celebrated her 92nd Birthday on November 19, 2004. These are pictures taken at Shaire Center. This has been a fairly good year for her. She has had no major health concerns, bur does have to deal with not being able to see. That doesn't hamper her ability to hear and she probably hears much more than she should at times.
She gets lonely having to be there by herself and the staff not having time to tell her about things taking place. Much of her attention has turned to singing all those songs she remembers from many years back ...
One of those times I came in and Mother was "just resting her eyes."
One of those few times the three of us are together.
Ben brought Mother a Teddy Bear for her birthday instead of a card. She was able to feel the bear and could listen to it sing "Happy Birthday."
