We are off on our trip leaving from BWI early in the morning. We flew to San Jose then drove to Santa Cruz to get settled in at The Inn at Pasatiempo before our jaunt to San Franscisco and Muir Woods.

My Summer Vacation 1999 Day 1 San Francisco, California

The Golden Gate Bridge from the San Franscisco side of the bay, looking towards Sausalito. The weather cooperated. It was nice to share the sights with my sister and son.

We stopped at the 'tourist' viewing spot for the Golden Gate Bridge. This was one of three places to visit requested by Walt. It had been 20 years since my first visit to San Franscisco. I walked the bridge then, drove it this trip. Multiple pictures for proof that all three of us were there and to check out the new camera.
