I finally got some cheezy video cam feed photos. OK, OK, I'll get better photos later. For now you can check out BigSteve1, BigSteve2, BigSteve3, or BigSteve4.
I lived in Portageville forever - it seemed that way back then. Now . . . the world has changed a lot and the memories of those earlier days seem so uncomplicated compared to what followed me from there. I'm sure more than a few are surprised that I even made it this far.
I never got to attend one of the FEW reunions for our class. I was BUSY busting my ASS (both shoulders, head, arm, etc, etc,) in the US ARMY while all the homies sat around drinking BEER and talking about SOYBEANS or fishing or adding another traffic light on Main Street. They were DOING something but they WEREN'T arranging reunions!
Hey, just giving you a hard time. I know that just getting by in New Madrid County can be tough sometimes. There are a lot of you out there that I would like to see. Some of you I simply miss - some of you I owe amends - - - "... wherever possible."
One small editorial then no more of that! I am looking for a cheerleader from Risco (I will not harm her further by divulging her name here) that I dated in 1968 and 1969. Those of you that can "decrypt" this will know exactly who I seek. For the rest of you??? I'm sorry but it will remain a secret.
Life has been interesting since I left P'ville many years back. I'll try to fill you in a little if you care to know.

Home Schooling
He has a very high non-verbal skill aptitude and it would be impossible to expect a school to essentially individualize every lesson for every such child. Due to circumstances beyond my control, but controlled by unseen Powers, has placed me in a position to devote my time to educating him at home.
Well, retired from the Army and enjoying life I was even bigger and ripped more than before. I had plans to go to Sierra Vista, AZ for the 1999 Mr. Natural Copper Classic. Two months before the contest I had started working on cutting body fat when I hurt my back in a work-related sports accident. Now, a year later (almost) I haven't lifted and I have constant pain. Fortunately, after I sued under the Industrial Commission, I was removed from Samaritan's concern (read - "give a damn") list. The good docs out at MAYO Hospital here in Scottsdale are getting ready to fix it soon. So hopefully in the next several months I will be updating this part. Oh, if anyone reading this is from the Phoenix area: Weight Training
I'll make the sad story as short as possible. In 1988 I was ready to start entering some local contests around San Antonio. Then I tore a shoulder - bad. In 1992 I was in even better shape and was ready to go for "Master's" levels in contests. Then I tore the other shoulder - bad, really bad.
