Education
Dr. Brown was born and reared
in the heartland of the Midwest on the banks of the Des Moines and Mississippi
Rivers in the community of Keokuk, Iowa. He attended parochial and
public schools for his primary and secondary education. Following
high school Dr. Brown served in the US Navy, Hospital Corps for 22 years.
During his Navy and Marine Corps experience he received several awards,
decorations, and commendations.
He taught medically related subjects of a formal field training school.
Dr. Brown, also know as "Doc" in the Navy, served
aboard the nuclear submarine
USS Richard B Russell SSN687 where he qualified
as a submariner and received
his Dolphins. Throughout his Navy career Dr. Brown
attended college at East Carolina
and Morningside Colleges nights, day, part-time, full-time, and anytime
he could while working towards the undergraduate requirements to qualify
for graduate studies at Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport,
Iowa. While, managing his studies attending Palmer.
Dr. Brown was involved in
research, he interned in a private clinic, and practiced at the Palmer
Public Clinic. Dr. Brown came to Clarksville, VA in 1982 to establish
his private practice as the Clarksville Chiropractic Center.
