INDUSTROMED has been established to provide a comprehensive occupational health service to Industries by highly trained nurses and doctors.  These services include industrial hygiene, primary health care and occupational health care, emphasizing promotive and preventive health. 

INDUSTROMED understands the unique health needs of industry and tailors service to best satisfy your needs.  We work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993, enabling you to provide for the health and safety of your staff and establish an advisory council for occupational health and safety.

• Pre-Employment health screening
• Periodic health screening and monitoring
• Pre-placement health screening
• Monitoring of occupational disease
• TB screening

2. EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• General health education
• AIDS awareness
• First Aid training
• Family planning

3. PRIMARY HEALTH CARE:

• Treatment of medical conditions
• Management of minor trauma and injuries
• Maintenance treatment of certain chronic conditions

4. OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENE:

• Monitoring of occupational hazards
• Occupational health consultation
• In-house factory inspection

5. ADMINISTRATION:

• Monthly reports and statistics
• Liaison with management and staff
• Liaison with outside organisations e.g. SANCA, SANTA, NCOH.

INDUSTROMED has a well equipped mobile unit, specially designed and fitted out for consultation, full clinical examinations and dispensing. The Mobile Clinic is able to provide a comprehensive service to large and small companies, at an affordable rate. Hours of service can he determined by you to suit your work schedule, be it on a weekly or monthly basis, or for periodic medical visits. Fees are charged on an hourly basis and are tax deductible. Increased production is possible as workers do not need time away from work to seek medical attention. INDUSTROMED is on your doorstep.
