People have different eating habits for many different reasons, such as religious traditions and availability. Each human has his own preferences, which are based on learned family habits to choose and make meals. 1906 there was published a first dietary guide where similar foods were categorised to groups. Those groups are:

  1. Cereals, rice and pasta 2) Vegetables and roots 3) Milk and meat 4) fat and fatty food 5) Sugar and highly Sugar contend food.

During years 1940-1970 energy, vitamin, fatty acids and amino acids contents of food were chemically analysed. The meaning of nutrition in the treatment of diseases increased. One started to use RDA (recommended daily amount) in order to establish a minimum level for vitamins and minerals. Later RDA was changed to RNA (recommended nutritional allowance). During this time however many common diseases increased, such as diabetes, heart diseases, cancer and obedicity. The Disturbance of metabolism increased and caused degeneration of organs. People were not able to use the research information for their health.

Nowadays it is known that the excess of free oxygen radicals and the lack of protecting anti-oxidants in food are a probable cause for the damage in cells. One gets anti-oxidants from green vegetables, red and brown roots And from yellow, red and violet fruits. Due to this 6 nutritional groups were formed and their portion in daily Nutrition was decided. Depending on person's age and sex the amount of daily portions would be 15-25.

The measuring of dietary RNA was connected to energy needed by a person combined with sufficient portions of anti-oxidants. Large information of nutrients can confuse everybody.
