Men and woman have made monumental strides in the 20th century, but with it we have inherited many responsibilities and stress.  We are constantly being conditioned to compete and advance within our modern and sophisticated society.

In schools, children face exams in class and later, entrance exams for college.  Once in college, there are long hours spent to make the best grades.  And once employed, we face the stress of succeeding in our chosen field.

The simple task of driving to and from work can be a challenge in itself, with bumper to bumper traffic and nerves jangled as cars compete to move ahead.

There is the tension of grocery bills, house mortgage payments, car loans and worry about raising children in a society overly-indoctrinated on pleasure, escape and relief through drugs.  The question arises, "What can we do to be able to function and cope with the challenges of our time?"  Submitting to drugs and alcohol has caused many well-known tragic results.

While there is no cure-all for coping with these situations, there is a safe and effective means by which we may help ourselves; the answer is regular chiropractic health care.

There is a tendancy for people who are under stress to allow their muscles to become tense.  This can have an adverse affect upon the nerves as they exit the spine, since they may become irritated or pinched.

Stress may manifest itself in different ways with different people.  Most experts agree that most illnesses can be made worse or even created by stress.  Excessive nervous stress contributes to heart disease, high blood pressure, headaches, ulcers, indigestion, constipation and nervous breakdowns, among others.

Many patients note that upon recieving care, they have more energy, feel more relaxed, meet their daily challenges with greater vigor, sleep better and
generally feel better.

Chiropractic care provides a safe and sane approach to combat stress.
