The Institute of Equine Therasage

The Thersage ESMT Certification Program consists of sixty hours of intense training. Classes are held Monday thru Friday. The average class length is eight hours in duration with two hours of take home materials. Classes consists of both class room and hands on experience. Therasage's class structure provides Therasage students with maximum convience and greatly reduces the cost of training. Many other programs require their courses to be spread out over a two week period.

Our Curriculum is based on a progressive and direct approach to learning. You will receive the Therasage Equine Sports Massage Therapy Manuel, Charts and diagrams. As well as numerous supplemental handouts and worksheets. These materials contain in-depth instruction on the locations and

functions of the major muscles. Focusing discussions and lectures on movement, range of motion, conformation, assessment and evaluation. Then applying this to muscluar stress and structural damage.

Besides being an ESMT, Greg Gage is also a successful practicing Certified Human Massage Therapist. Greg places great emphasis on the importance of developing the "Superior Sense of Touch."  Unlike humans, the equine client cannot always tell you where it hurts. Here at Equine Therasage we teach you and help you refine your therapeutic touch.

Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive a greeting package with a map to the facility. We would be more than happy to help you with travel arrangements and local accomodations. You will also receive a "visitor's package" with information on dining, art exhibits, museums and near by attractions you may want to visit during your stay.
