Directions to the Lexington Screening Site

WHEN YOU ARE NEAR OR ON THE UK CAMPUS:

FROM THE SOUTH: Take Nicholasville Rd (US 27) NORTH to intersection with Waller Ave (on left) and Cooper (on right), stay to the right and continue under the pedestrian bridge with UK letters on it to the light at Virginia Ave/ Washington Rd/Hugelet Drive and turn right.  Continue through the stop sign entrance to the parking structure and turn right onto Rose St at the light.  Take your first left into the UK Medical Center area. You are at the circle entrance to the Markey Cancer Center.  Proceed to the security check point.  The security guard there will show you where you can park for ovarian screening.

FROM THE NORTH: Take Rose Street SOUTH until you pass Euclid Avenue (also known as Avenue of Champions), continue entering the UK campus area and pass Washington Rd on the right and Hugelet Drive on the left. Take the very next left into the drive at the north side of the Markey Cancer Center. Turn into the circular drive at the side of the Markey Cancer Center. A security guard there will show you where you can park for ovarian screening.

 Driving from the North:

1. Drive south on I-75; this joins with I-64 just northwest of Lexington.
2. Take Exit 113; turn right onto Broadway, driving south, towards downtown.
3. Drive 3.0 miles on Broadway, going through downtown Lexington.
4. Turn left on Maxwell Street, which will take you across the northern edge of the campus.
5. After driving 0.6 miles, turn right on Rose Street, going south through the campus.
6. After driving 0.6 miles, the Medical Center is on the left. After passing Hugelet Drive, turn left onto the road in front of the Markey Cancer Center.
7. Keep to the left, on the circular drive at the side of the Markey Cancer Center, a security guard will tell you where you can park

Driving from the West:

1. Drive east on I-64; this joins I-75 just northwest of Lexington.
2. Proceed on this joined multi-lane highway to Exit 113. Take this exit, then follow the directions as noted in "Driving from the North," above.

Driving from the East:

1. Drive west on I-64; this joins I-75 northeast of Lexington.
2. Proceed on this joined multi-lane highway to Exit 113. Take this exit, then turn left onto Broadway. Follow the directions as noted in "Driving from the North," above.

Driving from the South:

1. Drive north on I-75; take the Lexington / Athens-Boonesboro Road exit,(Exit 104). Turn left.
2. Drive 7.7 miles; this road becomes Richmond Road, which in turn becomes Main Street.
3. Turn left from Main Street onto Rose Street, at the beginning of the downtown area.
4. Drive 1.0 mile; then follow the directions as noted in, "Driving from the North," above. (This instruction is correct, you have been directed across town to the north side of downtown).

From the Airport:

1. At the airport exit, turn right onto Man O' War Boulevard.
2. Drive 6.0 miles to Nicholasville Road.
3. Turn left onto Nicholasville Road, then drive 3.6 miles north.
4. Follow the directions as noted in "When You Are Near or On the UK Campus --- From The South," above.
