This Hospital is situated about 5Km. from Pasir Mas town, on a 43.3 acre piece of land. This Hospital serves about 150,000 population of Pasir Mas and the surrounding districts.. Even though there are no resident specialists in this Hospital, specialists of different disciplines from the Kota Bharu Hospital and the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kubang Kerian visit this Hospital regularly, about 10 times a month. Surgical and Orthopedic Operations are being carried out in this Hospital through a networking program. From Six existing ward only five are used for inpatients, while the other is is used to house the Physiotherapy Unit and the Library. The official bed capacity is 120 beds. The staff strength is 7 Officers and 204 other workers. Various inititiatives have been taken to improve quality of service. This Hospital has been awarded the National Innovation Award in 1993. In the Landscape Competition, this hospital was judged to be Champions at state level (1994, 1995, &1996) and the second runner-up(1994) and runner-up(1995) at national level.         Created and designed byChe Alim Che HaronJanuari 1999. Conferred "Baby Friendly Hospital" Status by the Health Ministry of Malaysia and the UNICEF.
