Playing "The Rose" by Bette Midler
Here we are again 2 1/2 years since my last update (August 19, 2006). Every
thing seem to have remained the same as It was on the last update. My stroke left me with
internal damage with no changes. I still cannot feel hot or cold
sensations on my right side from chest high down to my toes.
My right side still has the burning sensation 24 hours a day
from the top of my head to my toes. My energy level
is way better and I can do more things for a longer duration of time. I still pace myself when doing
physical things and can go for longer periods of time. My physical
wellbeing is great and I have been working pretty steady on my own handyman
service (Richard's Handyman Service) I love doing what I am doing at the present
time. I can set my own hours, work when I want to work, where I want to work,
doing the work I want to do or not to do :-). Most importantly take the days off
when I so desire.
Jeanne and I are still living in Smartville at the same house. We are enjoying
life everyday and live it to the fullest. We are both relaxed and content with
the way our life is going here in the little town of Smartville. We still have
been traveling and visiting different places. Also we have been doing alot of
camping with that 19' travel trailer that I mentioned I bought on my last
update. In a few days we will be flying to Wisconsin to visit her Son
Daughter-in-law, Grandson and other aunts, uncles & cousins. I will post
pictures of that trip on my Picture page #3 upon our return.
My son Tim and daughter-in-law Jamie now live in IndianMound, Tennessee.
My granddaughter will be turning 4 on November 25th. I also have a
grandson now who will be turning 2 on March 25th. There both growing like weeds.
My stepdaughter Charlene has moved back to Reno and living on her own and doing
the everyday survival of life. But doing ok and keeping her head above water. I
believe challenges make your life stronger and gives you the tools to overcome
hard times.
To conclude, let me say that I am totally content
with my life still and where I am. As to any challenges I have encountered in my life
it is still the same. I hit it head on and just deal with whatever comes my
way.
Richard
