McAdoo Fire Co. Inc. and Ambulance Association is one of the charter members of Suburban Mutual Aid Firemen's Association, which serves the areas of Schuylkill, Carbon, and Lurzerne Counties.  The the Suburban Mutual Firemen's Association actively applies fire prevention and suppression techniques in the local community.   McAdoo Fire Co. Inc. and Ambulance Association supports the communities of McAdoo, Kelayres, Haddok, Lofty and other surrounding communities, as well as any major firefighting operation in the state of Pennsylvania, or the U.S. This company is made up totally of volunteer firefighters that don't get paid for their service to the community.
