Therapy Tools

The main tools I currently use for my therapy include herbal creams and gels with essential oils, Haci 5-Phase Needles, and 1000 or 9000 gauss "press-on" magnets. These tools are introduced below.

Herbal creams and gels

I use creams and gels with essential oils or herbal extracts to soothe and/or stimulate the area I am treating. These vary, depending on the patient, phase of treatment, and specific indications I encounter.

Haci 5-Phase Needles

The Haci 5-Phase Needle is a small plastic cup containing a magnetically-charged acupressure needle. The needles are applied to acupressure points, while the surrounding cups are used for suction in a manner similar to the traditional Chinese medicine method of moxabustion cupping.

Please contact me if you are interested in learning more about their use and specific acupoints to use for various conditions.

Press-on Magnets

These are small magnets with adhesive patches that are used for extended biomagnetic therapy on acupoints between treatments. There are a variety of such small magnets, ranging in strength from 800-9,000 gauss.
