Why Astrology?   Have you ever wondered  ""What was God thinking?"" when this little ball of dirt was first sent hurtling through space? What were you thinking when you decided to come here to play? For as long as collective human memory can remember, these have been the Ultimate Questions. And since humans first began to pay attention to the starry night skies, astrology has been used in an attempt to answer them. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in astrology. And the more I study it, the more I see that it contains clues to help us achieve our highest potentials. Give me someone's birth (natal) chart, and I will know their very soul. For that is all a chart is: an earthly representation of the potentials of a soul. I say potentials because nothing is set in stone with regards to human beings. Nothing. We always have free will. It is said that "the chart of a saint is impossible to read" and that is because, through Right Use of their free will, they have transcended any boundaries shown in their natal chart. And therein lies the best use of astrology - a better understanding of who we are and that of which we are capable. It can show where we shine, as well as where we feel conflicts. And yet even within the conflicts are shown the means of their resolution. Because it uses symbols to tell the story of our soul's purpose in this particular incarnation, the meanings can spiral endless thoughts and discoveries. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brillant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God, your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
