For starters, please allow me to briefly introduce myself & my family members. My name is Wong Han Hsi, an ethnic Chinese born in Malaysia. I live with my lovely & intelligent wife Liew Pik Kun who's a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Essex, UK. Recently we are blessed with the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Emily Wong Sixuan in December 2006. My respectable dad Wong Peng Lam is a retired engineer & my mum Tan Yoke Chee is a homemaker who keeps the house in immaculate condition. Finally my younger brother Wong Han Min is a research associate at the University of Cambridge, UK.
Since Malaysia is a multiracial country, I'm fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English & Malay. I was born in Kuala Lumpur & had my early education at Nan Kai Chinese Primary School, Taman Connaught Secondary School & Taylor's College. I obtained my medical degree from the School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, University of Sheffield, UK. I'm currently working as a Clinical Research Fellow in cancer gene therapy at the Institute of Cancer, Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, UK. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, travelling, playing table tennis & badminton.
