Experience
Currently employed at JHT Multimedia with the title of Programmer. I work with a team of Instructional Designers, Graphic Artistists, and Programmers developing Computer Based Courseware for U.S. Coast Guard using ToolBook. The language used is OpenScript which is similar to a combination of C and Basic. Graphic interactivity is utilitized to create a partial simulation of real world examples.
Software Development Experience
- Designing and Coding MS-DOS Console applications using
C and C++. Applications include file I/O, pointer usage, sorting, and search
techniques.
- Developed and presently maintaining a Macro Driven
Network Accessed Spreadsheet Application using Lotus 123. Allows users
to place orders daily to our location via the network. Designed for ease
of use, clarity, and effectiveness.
- Designed, implemented and presently maintaining a
Web Page in HTML.
- Working in Authoring environment using ToolBook Instructor II.
Hardware Experience
- Installation/Removal of hardware including Multiple
Hard Drive configurations, Tape Storage Devices, RAM, Motherboards, CD
ROM Devices, and Network Interface Cards. Formatted and partitioned Hard
Drives.
- Analyzing hardware device configurations and resolving
software/hardware conflicts between drivers.
- Utilized Tape Backup System to archive valid hard
drive history.
- Built PCs. Configured Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and
NT Server as a client/server network.
