(Maktab Rendah Sains MARA) is a group of (junior)science colleges organized by MARA(Majlis Amanah Rakyat). MRSM Terendak is a joint venture education institution between MARA and the Ministry of   Defence. Thus 70% of its students come from the family of the military staffs.

Terendak Camp is a well known army camp located in the district of Alor Gajah in Melaka and MRSM Terendak is exactly inside the camp. To go to MRSM Terendak, you have to seek permission from the army guards first. But then, to pass through the army gate is not a problem. If you have a good reason, and if you don't look like a communist, you can pass through. The problem is to convince the school guard !!

MRSM Terendak started operational in July, 23rd 1983. There were 147 pioneer students registered on that day. It was not officiated until all the pioneers have left the campus.

We spent almost 5 years of our teenage time in this school. No matter how successful or miserable we are today, we will always remember Terendak.
