A Bit About Jim

Me In Palma, Majorca '98 8-)> !!!!<< Me on Holiday!!

Read My Curriculum Vitae (Coming Soon!)

Like my brother, I'm not too overkeen on this 'personal' bit, so here are a few trivialities about my personage!!

I'm interested in Permaculture and Organic Gardening, as well as growing cool and unusual plants, esp vegetables.

Here's some standard *press release blurb* 'bout me!

About James Warham

James Warham was born in 1977 and currently resides in North London. He has just finished studying a 3 year HND Sandwich course in Horticulture under the University of Lancashire.

In between his horticultural pursuits James has a wide variety of interests including writing, photography, 2CV's (the cars), and the internet. James has authored several websites , including those for friends and relatives. James biggest current internet venture is his own RenalUK support site for kidney patients.

His renal failure was discovered in 1982 and he has been in and out of hospital since then, whilst having to cope with all the normal problems associated with growing up; education, bullying, depression, and the general rigours of family life!! However, two kidney transplants, cancer, 5 GCSE's, 1.5 A-Levels and University later and he is in his present situation of recieving 4 hours haemodialysis thrice weekly at the North Middlesex Unit (a Satellite Unit of St. Bartholemew's)

He is currently in the process of going back on call for a transplant, and seeking dialysis compatible employment, and continues to learn about horticulture, IT, and the world in general!!!

I am a haemodialysis patient, interested in all related to this, hence the links to Renal Net (in the US) and the Gambro Homepage (Among others) which are on my Renal Information Page. As yet the neither the BKPA nor the NKF have homepages, but you can email the NKF at with any questions you might have. I have also written an article about transferring from children's haemodialysis units to adult ones which will soon be downloadable from this site.
