About Kel

Kel was born and raised in Otago, New Zealand. He grew up in the country and moved to the city at a young age. His childhood was rather typical of many young Kiwis. In 1989, he found his way to Australia in search of a better life. In 1992, he found that better life when he gave his life to Jesus in a little Anglican church in Avalon, New South Wales.

Also affectionately known to many as Summer Bay, of the "Home and Away" soap opera.
Kel has an oxymoron of interests; he loves most sport, especially rugby, but also has a keen interest in the fashion industry of the 1700s and 1800s. He loves motor-racing, particularly the Australian touring car championships or anything with a V8 in it, but is also a keen poet and
storyteller.

Though Kel's work has forced him to travel much, he is very much so a home body who would happily spend his life between the kitchen, café and rugby paddock. Most of all, Kel enjoys lecturing about the mysteries of God. He has a keen sense of injustice, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse, and loves to support the disadvantaged, especially the homeless, children and the sex worker. He is a pastor and is presently in the early stages of starting a Vineyard community in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
