October 28th, we sure did have fun on Sunday at Jungle of fun. We had my birthday party there and there were lots of gofts and my relatives. We had cake and pizza. Connor, Jesse, and I had a lot of fun climbing and running around.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Today is my 5th birthday and I am gonna have fun. I woke up to a bunch of balloons and decorated house and had a donut with a candle in it for breakfast. I then got to open some of my gifts and I got a lot of cool things. Among them were a playdough drill and fill and a spiderman extreme action figure. LAter we will go out to lunch of my choice and then on Sunday we will be having my party. It is gonna be real fun. Too bad it is raining today. I would go to the park with daddy, Connor, and my dog Bailey.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY MOM AND DAD!
Today is your special day and I wish you much fun on it. Afterall, I will be at grannies! I love you very much.


October 13th, went to the airshow yesterday and it was sure fun. Jesse and Nathan also came and we saw lots of neat planes and SuperShockwave, a jet powered '57 chevy truck. We saw little of the Snowbirds because it started to rain and then they cancelled their airshow performance for the day.

October 8th, I have lost another tooth! Yup, I had 2 bottom teeth missing anyway and there was another tooth that was loose and after I fell it made it even more loose. I woke up in the morning and it was still there and later that day it just disappeared. I should still get something from the tooth fairy though.

October 6th, yesterday was the 5 year reunion for the children who were born in 1997 and spent some of their first weeks to months of their lives in the NICU. I saw many of the nurses who took care of me, saw some of the equipment used, saw a puppet show, Blue from Blues Clues too. We had some treats. It was really fun. I also got to see a girl named Rachel who I also went to summer school with a few years ago and also saw Sean, who was in the same pod as I was. He was a neighbor of mine in the NICU. He is doing well. It was neat seeing these kids again. Connor went also and he enjoyed it.


September 29th, yesterday we went to the Motherroad Festival downtown. It was a lot of fun. Since Friday, Connor and I have seen many hotrods and cool trucks, a young Elvis, The Beatles, the Blues Brothers, and the Hardly Angles motorcycle show. Those were really neat. Those women standing on their bikes and doing other tricks. We sure had a fun time at the festival.

September 20th, yesterday guess what we adopted?? Another animal! Yup, it is a puppy that a neighbor brought home and he cannot keep it. Mom named it Bailey(after Bailey the Boyd Bear)and she sure is cute. Dad thinks she looks like a boxer. Some folks say she is a german sheppard mix of some sort.

In rememberance of that infamous day this time last year.

September 1st, boy Connor sure did mess himself up. While daddy was working on his hotwheels,Connor and I were downstairs playing in the living room when Connor slipped and fell from dads weightbench getting a deep cut on his eyebrow. He got really bloody and it scared me. I went and told dad and then dad helped him. Mom and dad had to take him to the hospital and Connor had to get stitches. The are neat stitches because you don't see them and they also have some skin glue on his skin too. My Uncle Joe came down yesterday morning and we all enjoyed his visit. He watched me while mom and dad took Connor to the hospital. We had a cookout yesterday and best of all, we went to get my bed! Yup, Connor and I have big boy beds. Yippee!! We even got to pick out our own sheets and stuff. I picked out Scooby Doo and Connor picked out Builder Bob. They are really nice and comfy. Makes our room look small though.

August 30th, this weekend coming up mom and dad says they will go out looking for Connor's and my bed and stuff. I cannot wait. After playing sliding board with my matress, it is tore up and stuff. Uncle Joe called and said he will be by tomorrow morning. Sounds like we should have a fun weekend planned.


August 11, 2002
Yesterday we went to the state fair and we had lot's of fun. Well, lot's of fun except for the time I got lost. Yup, I got lost for a few minutes and to mom and dad it seemed like forever. I did get to a safe place when I lady took me to the tent we were all just at and then they called for my dad over the speaker. He was right outside the tent and didn't know I was there and then mom showed up soon afterwards. I was sure glad to see them. They were really glad to see me to of course. I did just what mom has tried teaching me. I told them my name and my dads name and then that way they were able to call for my dad. Connor and I rode lot's of rides and we ate some good food. Mom and dad might go back out to the fair later this week.

August 9th, wow almost a month went by without any entries!! I have been quite busy these days. With playing and getting into trouble you know. Tomorrow we are going to the state fair. Dad has bought Connor and I a special ticket that lets us get into the fair and also gives us unlimited rides. All for a reasonable price. I cannot wait. I had lots of fun last year. I also like the food and so does mom and dad. That is all dad has talked about is the food. Haha, poor guy. I was going to go to the parade the other day, but Connor and I got into too much trouble that dad said no and we did not get to go. This is the 150th anniversary of the state fair. It should be really fun.

July 15th, I am doing pretty good still at not having any accidents in my underwear during the day. I do still wear pullups at night though. I can even wipe my butt real good, so says my mom and dad. Connor and I have been into hellraising so much these days that dad actually changed his email addy to twohelraizers. Hehe, dad.


July 6th, boy, it was sure fun watching the fireworks on the 4th. We met my Aunt Monica and my cousin and Tom there also and we watched the fireworks from the parking lot outside my grandma's apartment. The Capitol building is so pretty at night.

July 4, 2002
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
We will be going to see grandma this evening and have some cooked-out food and then we will also watch the fireworks later when it gets dark. We already watched some fireworks at a church nearby and boy were they neat. Connor didn't like them though. He kept his eyes shut through the whole show.

June 28th, bet ya cannot guess what we saw yesterday? We saw a FDNY firetruck and parts of a steel beam that was part of the World Trade Center. Yup!! The firetruck was one of the engines that were buried under tons of debris when the twin towers collapsed. These artifacts were on flatbed trucks and are on their way to California. On their way they are stopping at each capitol of the states they travel in. Their goal is to get to California on July 4th, day 11 of their journey. These will then be used in some way as part of a memorial that will be in Rancho Cucamonga, California. It was really neat seeing it. We went to the parade of it going through Springfield and then we went to the #1 firehouse where it stayed overnite. The roads were blocked and everything. Many people came to see them. They even had a custom rig hauling the fire engine. It was so cool. Mom even signed Connor's and my name onto the steel beam. It was sure some sight. I am doing really good at this potty training stuff. I stay dry all day long and only where pull ups at night.

June 22nd, well, the last 3 days have been hard on my folks. I and Connor have been really awefull around here. Tearing up things, getting into mommies makeup and smell good ruining them. I marked up the living room walls bad enough that mommy had to repaint them. I have lost my priveledges of things that I liked doing as in watching cartoons and drinking soda.I have two bottom front teeth missing. This happened kinda unexpectedly. I accidently hit dad's thumb with my teeth and it knocked them out. These teeth were already loose to begin with and this accident with dad's thumb finished them off. I did however get a visit from the tooth fairy. He left 7 of my favorite coins, PENNIES!!. Dad says he wished this did not happen because my adult teeth won't come in for another 2 1/2 years. I guess this Christmas I will be asking Santa for 2 front teeth.

June 19th, It is hot, HOT outside! Dad got the a/c unit in and boy is it nice to be in a cool room. The living room stays cool and we have a fan in there also and we have fans elsewhere in the house.

June 18th, We had a fun time at my aunt's house on Sunday. We had lunch there and had some cake for Father's Day. We also saw some of my aunt's boyfriend's family again. Grandma was also there. It is starting to get hot again and dad will be putting the a/c unit in our living room soon.

June 16th, It is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day dad!
Yesterday we made a visit to see Grandma and Grandpa Harris. It was fun. We also got to see Aunt Rozea. We visited with them all and grandpas house then we went out to lunch. That was good as usual. I am starting to use the potty for pooping more often. Dad says that is really getting to be like a big boy. I even wipe my own butt and I do it well too! Today we are invited to Aunt Monica's house again for a lunch or dinner, depending on how late we eat. I overheard dad say something about going to Lowes to get something to fix the pipe the kitchen sink pipe. That should be fun. I like to help him fix things.

June 3rd, this weekend was really a fun time. On Saturday, mom and dad took Connor to grandma's house and they were telling me that they were taking me out to a surprise. Just the three of us. First, we went to Old Country Buffet for lunch then we went to the movies. This was the first time I had been at the movies. We saw the movie Monsters Inc..That was really neat and fun. We had lots of popcorn and soda. I really surprised mom and dad when they asked me if I knew where we were and I replied, "at the movies?". It was really a fun day.

May 28th, we had a fun time at my Aunt Monica's for the cookout. I got to meet some of Tom's other family members and there was lots of food. He was the cook and he sure did cook lots of good food. It did sprinkle rain while we were eating outside, but that didn't bother anyone. We actually enjoyed it.

Happy Memorial Day!!
Today we will be going to my Aunt Monica's house for a cookout. Grandma will also be there and I am sure Tom, Monica's boyfriend, will be there also. The weather is nice and so it should be a great day.

May 19th, well I am back at wearing underwear again. I am doing pretty well. I am trying.

May 14th, Mommies Day went just great. My mom had a really good day. Dad got her a nice daily planner that she once mentioned that she wanted and an I love mom frame with pics of Connor and I in it. Dad also got her a mother's ring with Connor's and my stones in it and also the ring had our names inscribed on it. She loved it! We also went to my Aunt Monicas where her boyfriend, Tom, (he is really nice!)made lunch for our family. Grandma and Tom's daughter and her boyfriend was also there. It was a very tasty meal. He cooked just great. Oh, and the cake and pie was really, REALLY good!

April 23rd, This past weekend was sure fun. We had lots of things going on and the best of it was it involved eating cake and ice cream! Sunday we had a dinner for my dad's birthday at my Aunt Monica's house. It was fun. Lots of food and we played with Jesse and got to see his kittens. Do you know that Connor is almost getting to be as big as me? Yup. Connor weighs 25 lbs and I weigh 35 lbs. He is actually wearing clothes that I wore last year. Dad says Connor is probably about 10 inches shorter than me. Connor and I have been baby "hellraisers" lately. Daddy calls us that anyway. I am pretty active and so is Connor. But I try telling Connor not to get into much trouble, but he doesn't listen, like me. Hehe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNOR !!
Today Connor is 2 yrs old. How about that? Hard to believe that two years has past already, but it sure has. We went to Jungle of fun for his party yesterday and it was so much fun. He got lots of neat gifts and some clothes and his cake was the best. It was a Builder Bob cake. Uncle Joe and his son Stevie came down as well did my Grandpa Tony and Grandma Rosemary. My Grandma Penman was there too. Everyone was there and had a great time. Dave and Denise also were there. Next year we might go to the zoo for his party. Now that will really be neat!

April 17th, dad sure had a great birthday. We went to Grandma's house and had a dinner there and this coming weekend at my Anunt Monica's house we will be having a party for my dad. Joe and Stevie and planning on coming down and being here too.

April 7th, yesterday dad and I went on a bike ride again on a nearby bike trail. I had lots of fun until I fell off. After that, I did not want to ride again. Once we got home and ate lunch, I went back outside my house and rode the bike again. I just need to practice and I will become a really good bike rider. I wear a helmet also. I see other kids not wear one, but dad says that I am being safe. That is good, because I don't want to hurt my head.

April 4th, Guess what I got!! A new bike! Yup, it is a whopping 16" bike. It is neat. I do get scared that I might fall, but as long as I don't it sure is fun.

April 1st, Easter was lots of fun. We had grandma and Aunt Monica here. There was all kinds of good food. Besides all the goodies that I received, dad, Jesse, and I also went on a bike ride. I really didn't enjoy it much because my bike is too small. Dad said that this weekend we will go and I can pick out a new bike! Wow!!

March 31st, 2002

Today is Easter and we are going to have a fun day. We will be having grandma, my Aunt Monica and Cousin Jesse here. We also have Easter egg hunting to do and the Easter bunny brought us surprises. I know because I woke up and saw his footprints on our floors.

March 26th, can you believe that we got a bunch of ice and snow again?? It is already starting to melt though. Starting tomorrow, the temperatures are suppose to climb back into the 40's and 50's, so there won't be much of this snow and ice. Today we all played in the snow and then my neighbor friend across the street and his sister and his mom came over and we all a funtime. Because of the bad weather the last two days, dad didn't have class with his students so he stayed home and got to be with us for a nice change.

MARCH 17, 2002
Happy St.Patrick's Day!!
Today we went out and mom bought some new glasses. We then went out to eat and dad got to eat some corned beef and cabbage that he likes so well. I ate really well. I had a chicken leg, corn, broccoli and cheese, some roll, but, I probably liked the green ice cream cone the best. Hahaha.

March 16th, today Connor got his haircut. He was a baby. He did not sit nice in the chair. Mommy held him and he just squirmed and whined. I was a good boy the first time I got my haircut. Just ask my mom. We did see a gal that mom and dad knew though. She is a daughter of a friend of mom and dads. She cut Connor's hair. How about that? Small world isn't it? Mom said it will take time to get used to seeing Connor's short hair. I think it is nice, but mine is better. I wanna be an army guy.

March 15th, Mom said that this weekend we will go and see about getting Connor's haircut. He needs it. The boy looks like a girl. He has his hair with curls and it goes to the middle of his back. My hair looks nice. Mom cut it last week. look like a army guy. Dad has his hair like this too.

March 3rd, boy did we finally get the snow. A few days ago we got like 2 or so inches, but sure enough, in a few days with the little rain and 35 degree temp, the snow melted. Then, just one day after the snow was melted we got another 2 inches. We didn't get the predicted blizzard the news people were talking about. So, gues what dad and I did? We went sledding! Yup, today we went sledding and it was so much fun. We are suppose to get back to 35 degree weather starting tomorrow and can you believe that by Wednsday it is suppose to be in the 50's? The snow will be melted again in a few day. Dad says this years weather is really screwy.

March 1st, well we finally got some snow. It snowed yesterday pretty good and today after daddy got home from work, he took Connor and I outside and we played. It was really fun. It was very cold though. The news people are saying by the weekend we are suppose to get up to 5 or so inches. If this happens you can bet I will be going sledding.

February 16th, today dad, Connor, and I went to the bank, did an errand, and went to the park. It was so nice outside noone would believe that it is still winter. We haven't had snow for about a month at least. The temperatures are headed up into the 40's. My occupational therapist says that my speech is much better that that of some other 4 year olds. Uncle Joe and Stevie have gotten here so I better go for now. Bye.

Happy Valentine's Day to my special girl, my mommy. I love you very much!~Scott

February 13th, Guess what?? I am wearing underwear!! Mom and dad are so proud of me. I still do have accidents, but I am trying not too. I have Scooby Doo and Buzz Lightyear just to name a few. This weeken Uncle Joe and his son Stevie might come down. I hope they do, it always is fun when they come to town.

January 27th, well the weather has been unbelievable. We don't have snow and the temps have been getting into the 60's. We are going to go to the park today and just have a good ole time. Yesterday we went to see Jesse race his pine derby car. Dad was one of the judges for the cars before the race started. It won't be long until I will be old enough to join boy scouts. The first level is tiger scouts. It will be fun.

January 21, yesterday went to Matthew's 4th birthday party. Connor and I had a fun time. It was held at a McDonald's playland. We played and watched him open his gifts and then we all ate some ice cream and cake. The weather this week is suppose to be really nice. Hard to believe that we don't have snow. Everytime that it snows, the snow gets melted the next day. Isn't that strange?

January 13th, well yesterday granny came over for a visit and she had dinner with us and she played scrabble with mom and dad. I also had fallen down on the floor while I was playing and I hit my upper teeth. Man, that hurt. I ended up getting a real loose tooth and the one next to that is slightly loose. Mom is worried about it. I might go to the dentist on Monday and see if it is ok.

January 7th, went to my cousins birthday party yesterday. He turned 9 years old. How about that. It was fun. His friends were there and we all played together. We had some chips and finger foods for a lunch before we ate cake and ice cream. He got some neat toys too.

January 2nd, Well hope everyones new year is starting out well. Guess what I got to see? Jupiter! Yup, can you believe that at midnight New Year's Eve we got to see Jupiter. Jupiter was at its closest point from the Earth. The last time Jupiter was seen on New Year's was way back around 1752. The next time it will be seen again on New Year's will be around 2084. My folks will be really old then, but Connor and I could catch it again. We had a fun New Year's Eve. I watched tv and mom and dad played scrabble. Then after we saw the clock strike midnight, then we went outside to see Jupiter. This planet just looked like a bright star to us.

December 27th, man was Christmas a blast! I woke up on Christmas day and saw that Santa had stopped at our house. He drank the lemonade and ate the cake that mom put out for him. Then he left some gifts for Connor and I. I got a whole lot of neat stuff. I got an ambulance, a scooby doo blanket, an aircraft carrier with a set of jets, and a dumptruck. These are just a few of the items I got. After our Christmas morning, we drove to Peoria to see my aunts and uncles. That was fun and the food was good also. We stayed at a hotel. Now that was a funtime. There was all sorts of things for me to get my hands on there. The TV, the heater, just to name a few. I even had my own bed to sleep in. Overall, I had a really swell time this Christmas. Now when will Santa be coming again?

December 24th, Today we are having our Christmas together at our house with my aunt, cousin, and my grandma. We will be opening our gifts sometime today. I cannot wait till tomorrow. It will be Christmas and Santa will have stopped at our house by then. Yeehaa! We will be going to Peoria to see our other family members. It will be really fun.

December 23rd, well that snow last week all melted except for our snowbear. the snowbear was the last to go. Today it snowed again but not for very long. The temperature is suppose to get into the lows of the teens and the highs of 20's this week. Last nite Connor and I stayed all night at my cousin Jesse's house. That was fun. Oh yea, Christmas is now 2 days away. Yippee!!

December 16th, we went and bought me some new clothes yesterday. I am gowing through a growth spurt says mommy and I am outgrowing all my pants. It is really funny seeing Connor wear some of the clothes I was wearing 6 months ago. Haha. Daddy put on a new picture on my family page. It is of my Aunt Denise and Uncle Dave. They are a lot of fun to be around. I really like Uncle Dave. Christmas is almost here. I cannot wait. We will have so much fun and good time with our family.

December 15th, yesterday dad and I worked on making our 1st snowbear of the year. Yep, not a snowman, but a snowbear. It was our first snowfall of this season we had a grand of a time. It will be real fun when we can go sledding again.

December 1st, today dad, Jesse, Connor, and I all went to the Santa parade downtown. It was pretty fun. We saw horses-even a miniature horse, dogs, and lots of neat cars. There were not many floats, but the bands played well. At the end of the parade we saw Santa. We just saw him last week. He sure does move around doesn't he? The temperature was pretty decent too. We went shoppping 2 days ago and we got some bigger pants for me. Can you believe I am wearing 3T pants now. Still doing the 24 months tops, but those pants. My legs are growing longer says my mom.

Novermber 24, 2001

Yesterday, we all went to the Santa Parade in Peoria. It ws really fun and we had a good time. We met up with Uncle Joe and Cousin Stevie too. After the parade we went to lunch and then we went to see my grandpa. That was fun. Connor and I was getting cranky by the time we left. We then went to my Aunt Mary's house. We had a very busy day, but it sure was fun.
