Welcome

Recently I began to get interested in Quilting. I had tried my hand when I was younger and I wasn't very happy with my results, so I put it aside. Now that I'm a bit older, I'm ready to re-start my quilting. I began with a lap quilt.

As the months have gone by, my interest was peaked in an even greater way. Unfortunately my grandmother has gone into the nursing home, and we had to go through her house to get it ready to sell. Now, I've known my grandmother in the past to be a real crafter/quilter, but what we found was amazing. This first quilt, I believe was made by someone older, possibly my great grandmother.

Now the real story begans. We found in her basement, around 10 quilt tops from various eras, stages of quilting, etc. My cousin and I have split them up so we can finish them over time. Our goal is to give 4 of them to the great grandkids. I'm going to list the pictures, please take a look at each one by clicking on the link, and using your browser's back button to come back to this page.
