I have been thinking alot about you and Lee, especailly on your birthday. I'm not sure If you remember me, but I worked for Lee. I've since left the credit union (6 wks ago). I'm now working at Fannie Mae (I needed a change). To be honest, since Lee,
really haven't felt like I was an employee that mattered to anyone....just a # that had to produce $ in the mortgage dept. My opion is that things have fallen apart withing the last 3 years.....that's why I had to go. I can say that I made it 15 years,

Our wee Carl was born at 26/40 weeks, in other words I was 6 months pregnant when our 2 identical boys had to be delivered. We had tried hard to get pregnant as I have arthritis and we wanted a brother or sister for our oldest son Andrew, We were shock fo
the first 5 mins when we found out that we had 2 babys and then we knew that this was right and we couldn't wait for our family to grow to 3 boy's. We had just made the deadline to get pregnant by a week, so this was extra special.I was in hospital for a
month before the birth and being 1 1/2 hours away from my husband and Andrew was extra hard, but we had a good family unit to bring these boys into, and they where so looked forward too.
Hamish died after 12 short hours, so unfair, and Carl almost passed away so many times, but now we know that Hamish was right behind him all the way and making sure that he made it thru.
Carl spent 109 days in 3 neonatal units as they where delivered in another hospital because of the lack of room for 2 very sick boy's. Carl is now 7 1/2 months old and we are hoping for 11 pounds this week at weigh in, so you can imagine how small he is,
ut what a fighter!
My husband is trying to find away to keep Hamish's memory alive and to remember him, not that he will be forgotten. Both our son's have a picture of him in there bedrooms and we always talk to our 3 1/2 yr old when he asks question,s which are every week.
I wish that I could stop crying and that we still had our twins together as you wish that you hadn't been thru what you have, life is so hard and I belive time heals, but it takes a long time. I thank you for site as it is so heart warming and it shows th

ister had a car accident on a Wednesday nite, and died the coming Saturday nite. In pondering why my "dream messenger" said "you' when it was "she" who died, I can only guess that she and I were so close that we were like one soul.

This has been very hard on me since Lee and I were very close. I worked with Lee for a few years there at NFCU and he was one of the few people I truly trusted and confided in. He was always in a good mood and talked of this trips constantly. He took p
ide in his photo albums also. We always had fun looking at them. I remember the first few days he came back to work he was not in the best of moods. That was one of his traits. Could we blame him, no way! I am now in Okinawa Japan and I still think of
him daily. Like you, certain things trigger my mind to him. Amazing Grace will be a song that constantly reminds me of him. I remember we would sit and talk at work about his trips and that was truly the height of his trip, laying under the stars, etc.

I remember I would always pull into the parking garage on the 3rd floor in the morning and see his "Z" with DRAGON and I would always be glad he was there. After his death I could not drive up to the 3rd floor anymore, I had to stay on the 1st or 2nd, it
was too strong of a reminder about what happpened.

l young (24), but still I'm afraid to meet the day where I won't be a "proper" twin anymore. Reading about your grief makes me think, and I guess that's good.
I can only imagine how you must have felt, not having said a proper goodbye, not beeing there for him. I too would feel cut in half would my brother die. But you apparently get on with your life, and to me it seems you are still strong.
I cannot let go the thought that he died as I would like to: Doing what he loved the most. Really, is there any better way? I think not. For just as sad as death is, as happy must it be to die in happiness. I know that Lee left sad people behind, but the
nowledge that he died a happy man is much comfort to me at least, as I hope it is for you. Everybody dies - could you see a better way for him?
