Reply: You educate them good, and hope this education thing has a domino effect.

Mike: Yes, your problems are invisible, but you are not alone!!

Reply: OK Mike, I’m not alone. But where is everybody with Brain Injury???

Larry: This hits entirely too close to home in a deep, beautifully moving way. Know that those other invisible TBIs of us out here, know what you mean, and feel with you.

Reply: Thanks Larry, it’s good to know you all are out there, and thanks for sharing your feelings with me.

Vicki: The brain can heal David!!

Reply: OK Vicki, I’m just quoting what I read somewhere.

Donny: The sad part is people will pay more to be amused than they will on being educated.

Reply: That’s so true Donny, more has to be done in this world.

Pam: I let things go now instead of trying to explain my TBI injury.

Reply: That’s good, I know how frustrating it is always trying to explain things.

Julie: I believe your Brain Power has reached out to me. People are always seeking help and certainly will appreciate your Brain Power. I know you made my day happier today. Thanks!

Reply: No Julie, thanks to you. You made my day! Thanks again.

Julie (again): Even some family members can be cruel. We are still "whole" beings just a little slower and some days more ill and/or disoriented than others.

Reply: Julie you sure have a way with words. You are so right!

Candy: I have asked myself the same question for 17 years. I call these the "Silent Disability". Schools did great with the children who have a physical like obvious disability such as a missing limb or retardation, but simply could not see past a behavior problem as a disability.

Reply: Candy I myself don’t like using the word "disability", I prefer injured. But I agree with you totally. One would think teachers are all educated on this. Wrong!

Nelly (Parent): His memory is lousy, and he will never be like before, but we think he is great!

Reply: I think it’s great that you are all very supportive and understanding. Keep up the good work.

Pat: They cannot see because they don’t want to. They do not want to take the time to try to understand.

Reply: That’s exactly what I’m trying to say. I also came to realize that this is a hard thing to understand.

Nicole: Just wanted you to know don’t give up. It’s so important that your family supports you.

Reply: Thanks Nicole, I won’t give up. And thanks for my family for always being there.
