The
Bear In The Woods
This
one is famous. It’s like you’re walking in the woods,
minding your own business, and you hear a twig snap. Your heart
starts pounding, you turn around, and there stands a BEAR!!!!
You know he wants to eat you, I mean, look – he’s
slobbering and everything! You run without thinking. You have
a panic attack and it saves your life.
The
Inept Guard
A
big burly dude who’s only job is to protect you in dangerous
situations, except that he was taught in the old school, the “run
or be eaten by T-Rex” school, tens of thousands of years
ago. He is doing his job the best he can, although he’s
an outdated tool in this modern world. So he’s trigger happy,
he’s pulling the hormonal strings and he’s erring
on the side of “shoot first and ask questions later”.
It’s better to be safe than sorry, he thinks. “Let’s
just panic”, he thinks, “at least we’ll be alive.
I mean, that grocery store is like a herd of elephants at grazing
time, we’ve gotta get her away from there, now!!”
The
Haunted House Ride
We
all know it. We all hate it. You’re in an amusement park
on one of those dreadful haunted house rides, all the lights are
off, it’s so dark you can’t see your hand in front
of your face, and you KNOW any second some light as bright as
the sun is going to blare on right next to you and some big ugly
nasty monster is going to be there all lit up. You just never
know when it’s going to happen, or what side of the ride
he’s going to be on, or what’s going to happen afterwards.
As in “oh, God, please don’t let it come AT me!!!”
The
Car Crash You ALMOST Had
Say
you were driving down the street, minding your own business, when
out of the blue, a car approaching you in the other lane swerves
and heads right for you. You slam on the brakes, you turn the
wheel hard to avoid him, spin around in a circle and end up facing
the other way, and when you stop moving, your heart is pounding
and you’re having a panic attack.
You
drive home safely, tell everyone about it - but they don't believe
you because you look fine and there's not a scratch on either
you or the car.
Locked
in a Burning House
Imagine
being locked in a burning house. Your right in the middle as the
fire engulfs the house from the outside in. No one can hear your
sreams as you watch the fire close in on you. Again and again
you experience your comming death as your minds eyes relentlessly
throws you perfect visuals of each and every second untill slowly
the flames begin to burn you alive. A slow and painfull death
that no one can do anything about<<< THAT is a panic
attack.
