APPLIED IMMUNOLOGYA New Field of Medical Science and PraticeA burgeoning body of scientific evidence, as outlined below, strongly suggests we are on the threshold of a new medical science in the field of immunology. Furthermore, the tools essential to full clinical utilization of this new science have been developed to enable launching a new concept of medical practice and life time health care. THE SCIENCEThe immune system's defense responses to invading bacterial antigens include inducing inflamation to isolate and immobilize the antigens and calling forth various structures/agents to break down ("digest") and destroy the invaders. However, in the process, "innocent" neighboring cells or organs and connective tissue often suffer damage and destruction. Extensive research has now confirmed the human immune system often erroneously identifies normally harmless ingestants as "alien invaders" (e.g., bacteria), by marking these harmless ingestant molecules as antigens as they traverse the intestinal wall and enter the blood and lymphatic systems, wherein they circulate throughout the body tissues. Ingestant antitgens are engaged by the immune system essentially as are bacteria. Thus, immune processing of these "antigenized" ingestants can result in the manifestations of a broad spectrum of over 65 chronic/accute disease/disorder symptoms.Chronic localized immune processing can lead to severe damage of surrounding tissues and organs, when the rate of damage exceeds the body's ability to effect repair. Research results, to date, beg continutation on a greatly expanded scale to elicit additional knowledge from ongoing testing and treating a significant segment of the population. Assisting in the execution of the research will be uniquely qualified participating physicians and scientists enlisted by Ultimate Health. Concurrently, participating patients should enjoy all the benefits which may accrue to each of them. THE TOOLSUltimate Health, Inc. has acquired the first and only known scientifically valid, safe ingestant antigen testing system for use in physicians' offices. Management programs and controls, essential to achieving maximum benefits for participating patients as well as generating various scientific data have been developed by UHI. A "treasury" of laboratory research and clinical experience during the past 40 years (including test data from over 200,000 tests on over 3,000 patients during the past 12 years), provide a solid foundation upon which to expand ongoing research as well as initiate and build this new UHR concept of preventive medical practice. THE SUPPORTThe Ultimate Health Research Medical Advisory Board, assembled and chaired by James C. Breneman, M.D., A.B.A.I., F.A.C.A., F.A.A.I., is comprised of the world's leaders in this field of immunology with over 200 years of combined scholarship, research and clinical experience. |
