A Testimonial . . .

"Who would have ever thought that when I attended my first CNIG Breakfast Meeting four years ago that I would become the new vice-chair for the Interest Group? Certainly not me (nor my husband!). Seriously, it has truly been a wonderful experience. It has been so rewarding to have the opportunity to make new friends with so many registered nurses with similar interests to myself. I have had the opportunity to become involved in many endeavours, including: conference planning; chairing province-wide conference calls; developing a new group logo; and redesigning the executive structure. Becoming familiar with the workings of our professional association at a provincial level and having some input into policy changes has been instrumental to my learning. These are just some of the possibilities that are out there for us all to really become involved in our profession. Join the CNIG for yourself, for the future of maternal-child nursing and for the future of health care in our province."
