The World According To Fujicat
JOY AND THE INNER CHILD
I am 35 years old and I openly admit that I haven't grown up yet. To be honest I haven't even tried, I still love to color with crayon, to play with dolls and to read comic books long into the night. I hope to always find pleasure and utter joy in these simple things. Not because I'm trying to hold onto some childhood long past. But because I chose to let that inner child in me be indulged and not forgotten. For me it also represents this single moment of calm and clarity, when all I have to do is get lost. In that moment I do not have to be this or that or find time do this or that, instead I allow myself to just be. Furthermore we often get caught up enough in the hustle of life and forget that joy is of the spirit. So even though I am talking about the symbolic inner child in me, I am also referring to that which brings joy into my life. When you really think about the concept of joy, It does not really matter what you do when seeking it. It could be your job (not), running like the wind in the park or being around family and friends. Growing older is not synonymous with growing up, but finding joy in your life should be as important as breathing . Try it sometimes . ..Fujicat
