Well -- what would you like to know about me? It's too bad this page couldn't be more interactive, then you could ask me the questions you want! I guess I'll just start at the beginning --

I was born June 14, 1966 (I look younger than I really am) in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I grew up in with a younger brother, younger sister, and dog in Sherwood Park which is about 10 km east of Edmonton. I spent my whole life in Sherwood Park playing every sport imaginable until university when I went to Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (out on the west coast). At SFU I took a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in accounting and minoring in finance/sociology/criminology. More importantly to me at that time was I was playing rugby at SFU! In my third year of university I tore some ligiments in my right knee. While getting routine bloodwork I discovered that I had Diabetes Mellitis. After my diagnosis, instead of returning to school after a few semesters off, I began a work carreer at an international trust company where I worked in mutual fund/pension trust administration. Eventually, I was transferred back to Edmonton and unfortunately, laid off a few years later due to the company's demise. By this time (1991), I had already been married almost 5 years and had a son, Mitchell,who was born earlier that year. Worked various jobs for a few years until my divorce in June, 1994. I consider myself blessed that my ex and I are still friends today and that I can spend alot of time with my son who is the world to me!!!!!!
I recently moved back to Edmonton from
Jasper, Alberta, Canada. I just loved living there!!! It is definately one of the most beautifull places I have ever been on Earth.

Since June, 1995, I've had some health problems that have resulted in a below-knee amputation of my left leg. This happened on March 21, 1997. Of course I'm still as pig-headed and stubborn as always so this will not stop me -- it may slow me down for a little while -- but never stop me!!! I see this as a new challenge and opportunity for me. Being that I am a Gemini as per Western Astrology, and born in the Year of the Horse as per Chinese Astrology, you will see that challenges and opportunities are what I thrive on!
