Picture was taken during my trip to Japan in August 1991 to attend a Cat Dealer meeting on the Release of the New 'G' Series Wheel Loader. Second from left is me, Philip Wu, from Caterpillar Asia, Singapore is with glass on the left, on the right with glass is Supot from Metro Machinery Co., Thailand. Behind him is Lim from Korea, and in the middle is Almazan, from Philippines and attach to Caterpillar Asia, Singapore. Lately, he has been transfered to USA.

I am standing next to one of the earliest Cat-Mitsubishi small size Hydraulic Excavators. Background is part of the Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavator Development Center, located in Akashi, Japan. The Plant is about 40 minutes train ride south of Kobe City. There were about 30 of us from Caterpillar Dealers of Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China came here to discuss the "G' Series Wheel Loaders Introduction Plan for the Asian market.
