WHAT IS INTERGROUP?    It is a group of people made up from individual ACOA meeting who come together to do things (service work).  We do this because people from one meeting could not do it alone.

HOW DO THINGS GET DONE AT INTERGROUP?   If your meeting wants to participate in Intergoup, send a representative to the monthly Intergroup meetings.  More than one person from your meeting can attend.  Extra hands and ideas are always welcome.  At the monthly meeting, we exchange information and ideas.  We decide what projects we want to undertake and will do them.  We bring questions and problems from individual meetings and find answers and solutions from shared experience.  We get to know and care about each other and learn to work together.   Between the monthly Intergroup meetings, individual and small groups of people will work on projects that interest them.

WHY IS INTERGROUP NEEDED?  There are some activities which benefit all the ACOA meetings in our area, which could not be done by any one meeting working alone.  There are some of the jobs / activities done or could be done by ACOA Intergroup with your help.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?   Volunteer to represent your meeting at Intergroup.  Pitch in with your ideas and your effort to make things happen.  Tell your meeting about Intergroup and get other people involved.  Ask your meeting to support Intergroup with regular monthly contributions to support the activities listed above.

HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT?    You will find participation in Intergroup activities enjoyable on many levels.  You will:
