Resident Evil: Weapons

The most basic weapon besides the combat knife, the S.T.A.R.S issue of the Beretta 9mm Handgun is good for close range shooting.  Chris and Jill from Resident Evil 1 had these guns containing 15 bullets per clip.  As the games progressed, I noticed in Resident Evil 2, Leon has the same number of bullers per clip while Claire only gets a measly 12 bullers per clip.  Although it has some dissadvantages, it's still a reliable gun.

A more powerful gun next to it's rival the Berreta, the the Remington Shotgun is more effective.  This style of Shotgun carries 8 shells at a time and fires in bursts compared to a single but lethal bullet propelled by the Berreta Handgun.  This weapon is available to Chris from Resident Evil 1 and Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 2.  This gun at a close range could kill a zombie in both Resident Evil games.

This powerful weapon outdoes the Shotgun and Berreta in the skill of being fully automatic but in power, the Shotgun still takes the lead.  And for all those Nintendo 64 lovers, sorry but the Assault Rifle is for Playstation only and is located in the game Resident Evil Nemesis.  But on the other hand, Nintendo 64 owners can get a glimpse on how fast it fires by playing Resident Evil 2 for the N64 and equipting the MAC11 Sub-Machine gun.
