The Corpus Callosum is an area of the brain made up of transverse fibers that connect the two cerebral hemispheres.Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum is when either all or part of the Corpus Callosum does not form. This disorder can have one or more effects on a child. Some of the effects are mental retardation, vision and motor control problems or language delays. Our daughter Julie is just one of many children affected by this rare disorder.
