Reiki is a system of spiritual healing that came to us through a vision received by Miako Usui in 1917. Miako Usui found: not only could he heal others, but he could pass on this gift of healing and they in turn could heal and pass it on...

In the last 80 years Reiki has grown from the vision of one man in Japan and spread far across the world. It is estimated that there are over 1,000,000 Reiki healers.

One who teaches Reiki is called a Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki can only be passed on from master to student through a loving ceremony called a Reiki attunement.

Reiki has several schools or traditions. The tradition I teach, consists of four levels or degree. Each degree is obtained with a new attunement accompied by training.

Reiki I: The first degree enables hands on healing of yourself and others
Reiki II: The second degree enables healing over time and distance, enhanced healing at the mental emotional levels and the ability to increase the power level of Reiki. This is done through the use of three Reiki symbols.
Reiki III: The third degree teaches the use of the Usui Master symbol for advanced healing.
Reiki IV: Reiki Master completes the training by enabling the ability to attune and teach Reiki at all four levels.
