Corporate Coaching

Overview

In this age of constant and complex change these days the stillness at one's centre for managers is essential. This is true for managers in teams, groups, in board meetings, or as the CEO. To attain this "stillness", or detachment requires deeper understanding of one's self. This enables an increase in your resilience to encourage change. There is a very simple process available by CORPORATE COACHING LIMITED which safely and easily takes you to this place of detachment. The only qualities you need to reach your exponential potentialities are:

· TRUST

· COURAGE

· IMAGINATION

The Coaching Process

Corporate Coaching Ltd has an approach developed from twenty-five years experience working with people in a diverse range of organisations and based on the most recent research and practice in Human Resources and Psychology. It is this wide range of experience that has enabled us to bring a deep level of understanding of the evolution of human nature.

Key Features of the Process: The approach is conversation based. These can reach whatever level of breadth or depth you wish.

· You are in charge of the interactions which are one-on-one.

· The discussion is focussed mainly on your potentiality and does not dwell on your pathology.

· You will experience a deepening in trust that enables you to access issues that you may never have felt comfortable with other people.

· You will gain a high degree of confidence from your new level of understanding of your self.

· This confidence will lead you to be able to understand and detached from your work, colleagues and home dynamics.

· This will lead to a freeing up of your self in all your relationships.

· You will then be able to take even greater responsibilities and consequently even greater rewards in your life.

· If you choose to keep a journal of this journey you will be amazed at what levels of abilities you will attain when you review your journey.

· Gradually you gain so much self-control that you need less and less direct support and usually you find other ways of enhancing this amongst friends.

Issues That Can Be Covered

These issues are discussed from a solution basis with little emphasis on the pathology(that is for understanding only).

It is not uncommon that many of the following may be interconnected, and will be dealt with in a holistic approach.

· communication

· active listening

· empathy

· addictions

· mid-life crises

· relationship enhancement

· living with stress

· living in balance

· learning to live in openness and honesty

· change management strategies

· career planning

· potentialities of self

· organisational strategies

· team/group development

· emotional maturity

· being a responsible person

· creativity/spirituality

· family understanding and growth

And a variety of unique areas that individuals bring.

Details of the Initial Process

Early Phases: During the initial meetings there is gentle exploration of where the person is at (within themselves).

This will include some of the following:

· General assessment of your physical state - how much you are in balance with food, exercise, relaxation and your general tone.

· This information is built on in looking at your personal emotional state - how much you are in balance in your body/emotional equilibrium.

· This is further built on in looking at your interpersonal relationships - in work, home and in recreation.

The process takes a cylindrical and spiral approach. This means that the at (within) is fully covered in all aspects of basic to higher levels of needs.

Middle Phases: The beginning of the next phase may begin in the first meeting, but increases in our involvement. This is, where does the person want to go in their life development. Building on the above a time frame is agreed. Some people have immediate, medium, and long term ideas quite early in the process, others may need to use the process to sort quite a bit of that out.

Keeping in mind all the dynamics, within and around the individual we have conversations that elucidate these needs. Some of the areas of discussion that arise are:

· The intrapersonal concerns of the individual's self- emotional states, family/intimate dynamics, work relationships as effect the individual.

· The interpersonal concerns that arise from your self in relation to others.

· Ways in which the individual is attending to their self-body/mind activities individually or in group.

· How the individual is using strategies in their interpersonal relationships.

· Often the place to practice these is in the work place or at home- so there can be substantial practice discussions and strategies in work and home responsibilities.

Later Phases: Often we reach another stage around this point.

This is when some subtle changes occur in the individual's self and their behaviour towards others. This is when the individual attains an increased level of understanding of themself, and in the detached way they can observe this in their self they are then able to see their relationships with others in similar detachment.

Now the individual is attaining an increased level of emotional maturity and personal and professional responsibility.

In the final stages of work on one's self the individual finds even greater levels of subtle understanding. In these conversations the individual realises that in their understanding and behaviour they are reaching very high levels of creativity. This is manifested in a balanced and flowing energy in so many aspects of one's life:

· General stress free, flowing energies in all aspects of life.

· Increased levels of creativity in all aspects of life.

· Enhanced understanding of self.

· Enhanced understanding of self with others.

· Increase in work productivity.

· Enhanced self confidence which is usually manifested in an increase in taking on greater responsibilities.

· These responsibilities seem to get easier and can be handled with greater and greater detachment.

· Individuals feel a need to be more involved in various forms of community service.

· There develops a need to explore their spirituality.

Number of Sessions

To develop the initial trust levels it is recommended that three consecutive sessions are held.

The optimal sessions are those that are of two hour duration each fortnight.
