Billy will be so sadly missed by so many people.He was often scared of meeting people because he figured that they had already based their option of him on his past.Those who got to know him,despite the rough exterior and reputation were the lucky ones. For they were the ones that knew they had a friend with a heart of gold.
Billy was a person who would drop everything he was doing, when someone would call, to give them a ride or do something for them.If anyone was in need of a place to stay they could count on him. Because of this he was often taken advantage of, But he took it in stride and never stopped caring.
His family meant so much to him. They were the core of his life. He often talked about how much his mom and dad were there for him, even when some may of given up. His boys were his pride and joy. He was so happy to have renewed their relationship the last couple of years. He wanted to give them the world, even at times when he had nothing.
He was so happy lately. It was almost time when he could put the past behind him, and look forward to the future. The one where he may really get to live happily ever after. It just seems so unfair. He had found a sense of himself, his children and someone that was ready to spend the rest of his life with him. You have to ask yourself WHY was he taken just when his life was looking so good? Why was he standing there at just that moment.
Although it is so hard to look beyond the grief now, Billy often said there is no sense to spend your time crying for someone, that wouldn't bring them back. So think of the good times you had with them.
Please realize that he loved you for giving him a chance to show you who he really was. And to the ones who stuck by him when his life was at it's lowest, he loved you for beliving in him.
Billy always said, after he died, he was comming back as an eagle.
