The Aplastic Anemia Foundation is a good resource for patients with Aplastic Anemia. They help guide the newly diagnosed, and do a lot of research on this unknown disease. They are a great support system for all.
Help others who depend on blood products to save their lives. As Steven and other's have depended on the blood products being there for them when needed. And unfortunately for those with rare blood types that is not always the case.
This foundation gives kids with life threatening diseases a chance to make their wish come true.
Take the time out, and join the registry. There are so many people who need a match. You could be the one they are looking for. Please join.
If you are expecting a child, ask your gynecologist about donating the umbilical cord blood to a national cord bank. Traditionally umbilical cords are discarded. Donating your child's umbilical cord cord could save another child's life.
