We hail from Calcutta, India. Bengali is our
native language. Now we live at San Ramon,
California in San Francisco Bay Area. We have one
daughter and her name is Jhinuk. It is a
Bengali word and means sea shells. She was born in
the mid-western town of Cedar Rapids in
Iowa.
Both of us work as software professionals. Started
in Calcutta, came to USA in 1993.
After spending one year in Connecticut and New
Jersey, we worked at Cedar Rapids, Iowa as
software consultants for more than 6 years. In
2000 we moved to San Francisco Bay Area. Now I
work in the Information Resources and
Communications(IR&C) department at University of
California and Susmita works at Investors
Financial Services.
